JES manages numerous environmental restoration projects across the U.S. ranging from small, individual site projects to very large multimillion dollar projects. Our firm is result-oriented and dedicated to developing, implementing, and managing environmental programs to comply with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies. JES staff members are subject matter experts in geology, hydrogeology, contaminant transport, numerous environmental remediation techniques, bioremediation engineering, risk assessment, environmental law, project oversight, and contract management. Jordan Environmental Services’ Corporate Health and Safety Program requires all environmental staff to be fully trained in applicable OSHA standards and regulations, including the 40-hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training. Our Corporate Safety Manager prepares site specific Health and Safety Plans as appropriate to ensure the safety of our staff when working in potentially hazardous work environments.

Environmental Services:

Environmental Remediation

Subject matter experts in numerous environmental remediation techniques and procedures including but not limited to:

  • Air Sparge/Soil vapor extraction (AS/SVE)
  • Dual Phase Extraction (DPE)
  • Bioremediation
  • Groundwater extraction (pump and treat)
  • Large-scale lead remova

Underground Storage Tanks (USTs)

Removed numerous leaking underground storage tanks (LUSTs) in Virginia and Maryland.

Activities included: removing the leaking UST, collection of soil and groundwater samples, site characterization and delineation, excavation of contaminated soils as needed, confirmatory soil sampling, and obtaining Site Closure.

Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)

Jordan Environmental Services staff have conducted over 1,000 Phase I ESAs of various hazardous waste sites, landfills, various automobile facilities, oil blending facilities, multi-tenant industrial complexes, manufacturing facilities, and commercial/retail properties. Compliant with all ASTM E1527 requirements.

Waste Management Services

Several waste management projects in D.C., Maryland, & Virginia. Activities included: characterization of the material, excavation (as needed), packaging, transportation, and disposal at a certified hazardous waste collection facility.

Phase II Environmental Investigations

Our firm has conducted numerous Phase II Environmental Investigations for a variety of contaminants including but not limited to: total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), semi-volatile organic compounds (SVOCs), and heavy metals. Phase II activities have included:

  • Monitoring well installations
  • Soil borings
  • Soil and groundwater sampling programs
  • Soil vapor sampling
  • Delineation and characterization of groundwater plumes
  • Remedial Action Work Plans (RAWPs)
  • Health and Safety Plans (HASPs)

Asbestos Surveys & Asbestos Abatement

Jordan Environmental Services has completed very large asbestos sampling and abatement projects for for numerous federal government agencies including but not limited to: FBI, CIA, NPS/DOI, Joint Base Andrews, Marine Corps Base Quantico, and many others. We have also completed many smaller jobs for residential homes, churches, schools, apartment complexes, and commercial buildings. All JES workers are fully licensed professionals with many years of experience conducting asbestos abatement.

Mold Assessment & Remediation

Our technicians are trained and experienced in water damage restoration, microbial remediation, mold assessment, and mold removal/abatement. Our crews have completed very extensive mold remediation projects for the above-mentioned federal agencies as well as numerous commercial and residential properties. We have a tremendous team of highly skilled mold/microbial remediation experts. All of our clients have been extremely satisfied with our professionalism, expediency, and costs.

Renovation Service

Our renovation and remodeling teams provide expert craftsmanship and we have extensive experience with both commercial and residential properties. We are a Class A general contracting company and perform all renovation activities including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing. We are currently working on three separate multi-million dollar demolition and renovation projects in the state of Virginia.

Construction Services

Jordan Environmental Services provides expert construction services for large scale commercial buildings and homes as well as smaller, technical indoor construction projects. Safety and expertise are paramount when dismantling the various systems associated with commercial buildings and homes. We have been conducting small and large-scale construction projects for over eight years.

Lead Based Paint Removal & Encapsulation

Our firm has recently completed several lead-based paint abatement projects for the Virginia Department of General Services, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), several apartment complexes, and numerous privately owned residential homes. All waste is disposed of at a certified hazardous waste facility.
